Soccer Leagues 2010-2011

Entered in the Munster cup are the senior team under 16 team under 14 team and our 1st year team. Also the under 16 team were entered into the Shannon side league. The under 16 team and the under 14 team unfortunately lost their 1st round. The under 16 team against Ursulines of Waterford and the under 14 team against Blackwater of Lismore. Both teams played excellent on the day however injuries played a part on our defeat. In the Shannon side league the under 16 won their 1st round match comprehensively and due to play Kilmallock in their next match. The senior team were due to play st. Patricks of Shannon but due to a number of factors got a bye in this game and now face Christ king in the semi final. The under 16 team is captained by Caoimhe Farrell and vice captained by Emma O Brien. The under 14 team is captained by Serena White. The first year competition will be starting after Christmas and they will be playing a blitz in May. Finally we would to like to say a massive thanks to Ms O Keeffe and Ms Wallis for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year, it is very much appreciated.
