St. Mary's Charleville Co Cork

On October 22nd we had an early rise!!We met outside the church at 4am!!!All excited we headed towards Shannon airport for our flight to Barcelona!!
We arrived in Barecelona at about 12 o clock and were greeted by a tour guide who showed us around the city!!He showed us all the main sites including La Sagrada Familia, the olympic stadium and many more!!After we headed back to our hotel wrecked but ready for another day of excitment!!!!
On the second day of our school we visited Montserrat.It was on a picturesque mountain. It is famous for the ‘Black Madonna’ it is a painting in the church in which the Virgin Mary is painted black.
After that we went to visit Nou Camp stadium and muesum. We had a tour on Nou Camp and saw the dressing rooms, the prayer room , VIP sections and the conference rooms!!It was a brilliant day.That night we went bowling it was a very enjoyable night!!
On the third day we went shopping in Barcelona. We wandered around shops and stalls spending money. Las Rambles was the main attraction as its the main street fir shopping in Barcelona! We then returned to Salou and that night we visited a magic show. Both students and teachers had magic preformed on them. It was anexcellent and entertaining show.
On the fourth day we visited Portaventura theme park in Salou. This theme park was full of exciting rides for both the brave and not so brave. We spent all full day there and that wasn’t even enough time to see all the park.We returned to the hotel for the evening.
On our last day we stareted to head home. On our way we stopped off in Tarronga and walked around the streets. After we went to Girona where we went to a market in the old part of the city!For the rest of the day we looked around the market and bought crafts of the local people.
We got our flight home and arrived home safe and sound and with great memories!!!!!
