Mountain Biking
TY students took to the Ballyhouras where thay hired mountain bikes and undertook the gruiling 17 km cycle. All students completed the course and had imense fun in doing so. Great thanks goes to Ms. Wallis for organising the event and Mr. O'Donovan and Ms. O'Neill for accompanying students.

The Burren
One of the highlights of Transition year has been the 2 overnight stay in The Burren. On the 15th of September 31 lively students hopped on a bus to the Burren Outdoor Education Centre accompanied by Ms Regan and Ms O'Neill. Everyone got to explore the unique and vivid Burren landscape, experience and array of exciting, diverse and challenging adventure activities, learn and develop new skills i.e. map reading and develop life skills such as working in a group, improving communication skills and improving self confidence. Activities included hill walking, rock climbing, caving and water sports.
