DANCE 4 LIFE PROGRAMME!

On 13th of September the dance 4 life team came to our school for the first stage of the dance 4 life programme. They taught us about HIV and AIDS through dance and videos. On the right are pictures of the transition year and 5th year students taking part in the dance. The second stage was on the following Monday where they continue to make us aware of STI's.

The Ploughing Championships 2011!
Miss Wallis organised a trip for the Transition Years to the Ploughing
Championships. We left at quarter to seven armed with wellies and wet
gear. With little traffic we arrived just after nine all set for our
day. We were very fortunate with the day - no rain until two. After
gathering our freebies we headed home happy and wrecked from the long
day walking around and up since before dawn. We would like to thank
Miss Wallis and Miss O'Keeffe for giving us the opportunity to have
such an enjoyable trip.
